2026 Sherwood Amateur Championship
The Greens at North Hills
July 25-26, 2026
Format: The championship will be a two-round, individual stroke play format. Each competitor will play 18 holes per round, for a total of 36 holes over the course of the championship. Scores will be recorded for each hole, the ranking will be based on the players with the lowest cumulative score over the two rounds.
Eligibility: Open to male amateur golfers who are current individual members of ASGA with an active GHIN handicap index. Amateur – 16+, Mid-Amateur – 25+, Senior – 50+, Super Senior – 60+, Legends (formerly Masters) – 70+
Entry Fee: The entry fee is $180 for all participants. The deadline to enter is July 19th at 4:00 P.M., or until the field is full. Entries that do not meet the requirements will be returned.
Tee Markers: Yardages are TBD.
Schedule of Events:
Saturday, July 25th – Starting times are TBD.
Sunday, July 26th – Starting times are TBD. Prizes awarded immediately following the completion of play.
Food: No food will be provided at this event.
Practice Round: Contract the shop about rounds a week prior to the tournament. The golf shop number is (501) 833-3790. Dawn Darter is the PGA Professional.
Prizes: Champions will receive credit toward the The Green at North Hills pro shop
Rules: All USGA rules govern play
Refund Policy: Participants who withdraw before the registration deadline will receive a full refund, minus a $25 processing fee. No refunds will be issued after the registration deadline.
