Junior Golf Stars Shine in a Thrilling Two-Day Championship at Conway Country Club!

CONWAY, Ark. (March 30, 2025) - Sixty junior golfers paired up and competed at the ASGA Junior Four-Ball Championship from Saturday, March 29, to Sunday, March 30, at Conway Country Club. Despite wet conditions on Saturday, the boys’ division saw brothers Berkley and Brody Knapp post a round-leading 63 to take a one-stroke advantage heading into round two, while reigning ASGA Junior Girls Player of the Year Yinyoe Yang and her partner Jaden Johnson held a one-stroke lead over three teams tied behind them.

On Sunday, clear skies and brilliant sunshine set the stage for a dramatic finish. The boys’ field tightened with roughly eight teams within one stroke of the lead, and in a thrilling final stretch, Gabriel Haslauer and Miken Ashmore stringed together three birdies with clutch putts to record a round 2 best 61 and win by a three-stroke margin. Meanwhile, Yang and Johnson led the girls’ division wire to wire, finishing with a round of 70 and securing a three-stroke victory.
