We are proud to announce the inaugural Bob Ralston Memorial Scholarship, which will be awarded to a high school graduate boy and girl of the class of2021 who will be playing collegiate golf.
Robert “Bob” F. Ralston was a PGA Golf Professional in the state of Arkansas for over 50 years. His two greatest passions were playing the game and teaching younger players how to play the game. He took great joy in seeing young players work on their game, improve, and excel on and off the golf course.
In his memory, the Ralston Family Foundation has established the Bob Ralston Memorial Scholarship to continue helping young golfers excel in golf and in life. Applicants will be reviewed and selected by the Ralston Family Foundation Scholarship Committee. Applications are due March 19th and the scholarships will be rewarded on May 17th.
To Qualify, applicants must:
- Graduate from an Arkansas high school in 2021 with at least a 3.0 Cumulative GPA
- Play collegiate golf
- Have two letters of recommendation emailed or mailed to the Ralston Family Foundation (One from a PGA Member or a Club Professional)
- Write an essay about the biggest life lesson you have learned through the game of golf (500 words or less).
- Provide a brief explanation of your collegiate financial need.
