The Alotian to Host 2013 Western Amateur

The Alotian Club in Roland, Ark., just west of Little Rock, will host the 2013 Western Amateur Championship July 29 – August 3, announced today by Warren Stephens, CEO of The Alotian.  Arguably one of the top three amateur tournaments in the United States, the Western Amateur will bring an international field of talent to the state of Arkansas for the first time.  The Western Am was played at Memphis CC in 1920 and 1933, the closest sites to the Natural State.  The first tournament was held in 1899; Razorback Senior Ethan Tracy of Hilliard, OH won the 2011 Western Amateur at North Shore CC near Chicago.
